Two of the Sports Greatest ever Legends, Peter Craven
and Ove Fundin
Clearly everyone worked their way up the ladder of
success even then,
and 1954 was Ronnie's first World Title having finished
10th, 4th, 4th, and 6th,
in 1950, '51, '52, and '53 respectively.
1954 was the first time either Craven or Fundin had
appeared in a World Final,
and 1955 would see Peter Craven crowned World Champion
for the first time,
whilst Ove Fundin would win his first World title the
next year in 1956.
